FACEBOOK!!! Everyone is rushing to it! MERIT:The gospel of our Saving Jesus Christ is preached easily;the world is becoming a global village! IMPLICATION:Jesus Christ is coming back very very soon!!! In Matthew 24v14,"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony(witness) to all the nations, and then the end will come.''
''God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it?'' Numbers 23:19.His world is settled in Heaven,Psalm 119v89.Anything He says would happen will surely happen!In the book of Isaiah Chapter 60v8-9,''Who are those that fly as a cloud,and as the doves to their windows? Surely,the isles shall wait for me,and the ship of tarshish first to bring thy sons from far...''Here,God showed prophet Isaiah how the Israelites would return to their country.Few years ago,in 1947,God used the United Nations and that prophesy was fulfilled.Aeroplanes were provided at different corners of the world.The Israelites were transported back to their original country,Israel.They returned from the countries where they were slaves for many years.In that vision,the 'flying doves Prophet Isaiah saw happened to be Aeroplane.That time,there was nothing like aeroplane and Isaiah would not have explained it better,hence he says,'fly as a cloud,and as the doves'
The same way,Jesus Christ says,"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony(witness) to all the nations, and then the end will come.''I used to wonder how possible it would be for preachers to travel from one place to the other in a bid of telling people about the saving Jesus.I never knew that God had already planned everything.He had already planned to bring into the world,a 'small' boy who discovered facebook.No wonder He uses the weak things to surprise the strong;the foolish things to surprise the wise! 'preaching the gospel to every creature' does not mean all must believe or accept,but as a witness that all have heard that Jesus Christ is the Lord and the Savior of mankind!
Facebook has been a very wonderful tool.Now,we can 'feel' and 'touch' our friends and relatives who are living more than one million miles away from us.It's like we are dwelling in one house! Thanks to God for facebook.
Nevertheless,we should be grateful to God for his blessings.We should enjoy all that He Has given to us,we should be very expectant,ready for His return."Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed."Revelation 16v15.
